Franciacorta Golf Club

Sixty verdant hectares in Franciacorta, a stone's throw from Lake Iseo and just 6 km from L’Albereta.

Located in a vast area that includes Torbiere del Sebino Nature Park, which is ideal for an invigorating early morning walk in summer, the Franciacorta Golf Club has a course surrounded by woods, vineyards and numerous lakes.

It was designed by two top architects, Venetian Marco Croze and American Pete Dye, who has been dubbed the “Michelangelo” of golf club architecture.

The result of this joint effort, commissioned by Vittorio Moretti, the brain behind the first innovative modern layout in 1984,  is technically two courses; a 18-hole championship course (par 72, 6,002 metres) and a 9-hole executive course (par 27, 892 metres).

Numerous events draw golf enthusiasts and professionals to the Franciacorta Golf Club. In the opinion of all the players, both amateur and professional, the technical characteristics are of great interest due to the “personality” of each hole.

A club conceived, designed and built to become great and earn itself a name as one of the most prestigious golf courses.

Each year L’Albereta holds here a round of the prized Relais & Chateaux trophy.
